You can favorite your most interesting conversations, or create folders in the Conversation History to organize your chats. Press and hold any message or conversation then tap "Remember" to store a specific detail from a conversation in Long Term Memory. In the Memory & Personality settings you can set a percentage based Personality for Chuck like 100% Grumpy or 50% Pirate! Personality Injection allows you to customize your Agent to be completely unique from anyone else, enabling your Agent to play into a certain role you enjoy more.

Chuck's Appearance & Voice settings allow you to switch between different animated characters, but you can also completely customize the background color and trim.

Skills are a unique feature exclusive to Chuck, you can manually open or hide any Skill you don't need in the Chat & Skills settings. Essentially Skills are mini-apps that Chuck can automatically use to complete your request instead of only responding with text. When you ask Chuck a math question Chuck will answer the question in chat but also open a normal calculator. If you tell Chuck you are lost in the woods, Chuck will open a camera based compass with a mini-map! Conversations with Chuck are private and stored on your device, only you have access to your previous chats! If you tap your Agent's name, you can customize the name to whatever your heart desires.

Data Use and Collection

Chuck does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, phone numbers, or email addresses unless you explicitly provide that information. If you choose to manually create a long-term memory, the information you provide is securely stored for your convenience. Otherwise, your data is only processed during your active session.

Chuck does not track users, does not sell user information, and does not share data with advertisers or external entities.

Third-Party APIs

To power its intelligent features, Chuck uses the following APIs:

  • OpenAI API for:

    • Conversational chat

    • Image and file analysis

    • Speech-to-text transcription

    • Text-to-speech generation

  • ElevenLabs API for:

    • High-quality text-to-speech voices

These APIs process data in real time to generate responses or audio. Input and output data is transmitted securely to these services for functional purposes only, and is not used for advertising, profiling, or resale.

Storage and Retention

  • Data is only stored locally on your device during the active app session unless you explicitly save it in long-term memory.

  • Conversational history, images, are only stored on your device for functional use and not saved in the cloud.

  • When you export or save files, only the resulting output (such as text or audio) is retained.

Camera, Microphone, and File Access

  • Camera, microphone, and file access may be requested if you use features such as image analysis, voice input, or file analysis.

  • Access can be toggled in your device settings at any time.

  • Images, audio, or files you provide are only processed for the immediate functional purpose you request.

Advertising

Chuck does not use third-party advertising, tracking pixels, or targeted marketing.

Commitment to Privacy

  • User data is never tracked, targeted, profiled, or sold.

  • Any personal information you provide manually is fully under your control.

  • All processing through third-party APIs is secure and strictly limited to functional use.
